Steven Olday is a Support Specialist at Alliance Financial Network, where he works alongside Financial Advisor Derek Malis to help provide clients with a smooth and responsive service experience. In his role, Steven supports new business, client outreach, marketing, and ongoing servicing needs, helping ensure requests are addressed efficiently and clients remain informed throughout the process.
Known for being reliable, proactive, organized, and easy to communicate with, Steven approaches his work with a focus on getting things done correctly and promptly. When clients have questions or more complex needs, he works with the appropriate teams to find answers and provide timely follow-up. Steven takes pride in helping clients feel prepared, educated, comfortable, and more confident in their financial decisions.
Steven brings nearly 12 years of banking experience to his role, with a background spanning retail banking, supervisory positions, back-office support, executive leadership, and regulatory support. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Buffalo State University and is a New York State Notary Public. He is also involved with Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
Born in Buffalo and raised in West Seneca, Steven now lives in Cheektowaga. Outside of work, he enjoys road trips, hiking, photography, stargazing, and spending time in nature. He is also a big fan of Halloween and hosts a large party each year. One thing people may not know about Steven: he spent part of his youth in Florida and studied French for seven years.
