Sean Scott is a Brokerage Manager and Disability Insurance Specialist at Alliance Financial Network, where he helps financial advisors and independent brokers identify and navigate disability insurance opportunities. In his role, Sean provides product education, case design, underwriting support, and guidance throughout the implementation process, helping advisors and brokers better understand the options available for their clients.
Known for being accessible, responsive, and willing to get involved, Sean strives to be a resource people feel comfortable turning to with questions, opportunities, or challenging cases. He understands that disability insurance can be complex, particularly when occupations, income, employer benefits, and individual circumstances vary. Sean enjoys simplifying those complexities and helping advisors become more knowledgeable and confident when discussing disability insurance with their clients.
Sean brings approximately four years of financial services experience to his role, with a specialization in disability insurance. He began his career with Guardian, working closely with advisors, brokers, underwriters, and clients across a wide range of cases. Sean earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Canisius College and is a member of the Buffalo Club.
Originally from New Jersey, Sean has called Buffalo home for more than 20 years. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, basketball, golf, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. Naturally competitive, Sean can turn just about any activity into a friendly competition.
