Michael Fanto, CLU® is a Financial Adviser at Alliance Financial Network, where he helps clients identify potential financial risks and opportunities and develop coordinated strategies based on their individual objectives. With a particular focus on professionals, including physicians, dentists, and attorneys, Michael helps clients evaluate cash flow, assets, financial protection, and other considerations. For those approaching retirement, much of his work centers on retirement income planning.
Known for his thorough approach and ability to make clients feel at ease, Michael believes meaningful advice begins with listening and understanding what matters most to each person. He approaches every relationship with a simple principle: given the same circumstances, he wants to provide the same guidance he would consider for himself, a family member, or a close friend. Michael especially enjoys the “light bulb” moments when clients gain a clearer understanding of their financial choices and the strategies available to them.
Michael brings 44 years of financial services experience to his role, drawing on decades of client relationships and exposure to a wide range of financial situations. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from SUNY Brockport. Michael holds the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation, his Life, Accident and Health insurance license, and FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations.
Originally from Long Island, Michael has called Penfield, New York, home for nearly 25 years. Outside of work, he enjoys church, basketball, and spending time with family and friends. Known for his tenacity and sense of humor, Michael is comfortable tackling difficult challenges—although, perhaps surprisingly after more than four decades of working with people, he still has a fear of public speaking.
