Jonathan “Jay” Berube is the Director of Wealth Management at Alliance Financial Network, where he helps individuals, families, and business owners create financial roadmaps designed to support their long-term goals. In his role, Jay focuses on providing trusted financial guidance, simplifying complex financial options, and mentoring financial professionals, helping both clients and advisors move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Known for his ability to make sense of complex financial topics and explain them in an understandable way, Jay approaches every relationship with a simple guiding principle: treat every client the way he would want to be treated. He takes pride in being a trusted partner and helping clients feel valued, understood, and comfortable with the decisions they make. For Jay, one of the most rewarding parts of his work is seeing clients achieve important life goals and knowing he played a role in helping them get there.
Jay brings more than 36 years of wealth management experience to Alliance Financial Network, including extensive leadership experience coaching and developing financial professionals. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College and began taking on leadership responsibilities in the financial services industry at just 24 years old.
Originally from Fall River, Massachusetts, Jay now calls downtown Buffalo home. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, tennis, spending time with family and friends, and being with his puppy, Isabella. A former Division I tennis player, Jay remains guided by what he calls a “positive mental attitude” and brings that optimistic, thoughtful perspective to both his personal and professional life. He also gives back through animal rescue efforts and community organizations such as the YMCA.
