Joe D'Amico

Joseph D. D’Amico is a Wealth Management Advisor with Praxis Financial Group at Alliance Financial Network, where he helps clients take an active role in their financial future and make informed, financially responsible decisions. Joseph works primarily with retirees, pre-retirees, and owners and partners of closely held businesses, helping working professionals turn income into assets and retirees thoughtfully approach the transition from assets to income.

Known for his analytical approach and ability to explain complicated concepts in clear, understandable terms, Joseph believes effective financial guidance begins with asking the right questions and understanding each client’s individual circumstances. He regularly reviews and stress-tests strategies as clients’ lives evolve, helping ensure recommendations continue to reflect their needs and priorities. Joseph especially enjoys seeing clients leave a meeting with a greater sense of clarity and confidence about their financial decisions.

Joseph brings 11 years of financial services experience to his role, including nine years with Alliance Financial Network. After interning with AFN while in college, he began his career with another financial services firm before returning to AFN in 2017. He joined Lutz & Associates in 2022, where he developed significant experience in retirement income planning, and became part of Praxis Financial Group when the teams merged in 2026. Joseph earned his Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and a Certificate in Accounting from St. John Fisher University. He holds his Life, Accident and Health insurance license and FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations. He also supports Eight 4 World Hope and Lollypop Farm.

A longtime Rochester-area resident who has also spent time living in Southwest Florida, Joseph enjoys boating, attending car shows, and maintaining what he hopes is the best lawn on the block. He spends much of his free time with family, close friends, and a spirited cat who runs the house.
