Amy Trautman is the Director of Career Development at Alliance Financial Network, where she helps new advisors build a strong foundation for success as they begin their careers with the firm. In her role, Amy guides advisors through onboarding, licensing, training, and their transition into AFN, helping ensure they have the resources, support, and connections they need to move forward with confidence.
Known for being responsive, approachable, and a trusted resource, Amy is genuinely invested in the success of the advisors she supports. She believes people do their best work when they feel supported, connected, and part of a positive culture that encourages growth and collaboration. Amy especially enjoys watching advisors gain confidence and achieve milestones that once felt intimidating, from passing licensing exams to completing onboarding and becoming established in their new roles.
Amy brings more than 25 years of relationship-building and professional experience to her role, including five years at Alliance Financial Network supporting advisors across New Business, recruiting, onboarding, and development. Before joining AFN, she spent more than 20 years in hospitality sales, where she developed a strong foundation in relationship management, client service, and helping others achieve their goals. She studied Hotel and Restaurant Management at Paul Smith’s College of Arts & Sciences.
After spending 12 years in Tampa, Amy returned to Buffalo and now calls Western New York home. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
